The DHS’s own website states that their mission is to “secure the nation from the many threats we face … ranging from aviation and border security to emergency response, from cybersecurity analyst to chemical facility inspector.” So for which of these responsibilities do they need 2.5 BILLION bullets?

DHS 2012 bullet purchases – 750 million rounds

DHS 2013 bullet purchases – 21.6 million rounds

DHS 2013 bullet purchases –   1.6 Billion rounds

DHS 2014 bullet purchases –   75 million rounds

DHS 2015 bullet purchases –  62 millions rounds

DHS 2015 bullet purchases  – 95,000 rounds of 9mm hollow-point bullets

Some have speculated that the rounds are for the American people. World Net Daily writer Joseph Farah has expressed concern that the Obama administration is stockpiling these rounds for a “civilian national security force.Obama had talked about this very thing while campaigning in 2008. While giving a speech in Colorado that year, Obama said, “We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded.”

The IRS is buying AR-15’s. Now why would that be necessary?…and the Social Security Administration buys 174,000 hollow point bullets. What are the old folks now doing that the Social Security Administration suddenly feels they need to arm themselves?

To tell your elected officials you want a written explanation as to why the DHS needs  2.5 BILLION bullets and if they don’t respond you will vote against them at their next election and you’ll spread the word online that they approve of the DHS arming themselves take action
